The Bolivarian Government of Guárico is carrying out deep rehabilitation work at the “Dr. Víctor Manuel Ovalles” House of Culture to dignify spaces that promote regional identity and talent.
In this regard, the governor of the entity, Donald Donaire, stressed that these improvements represent a direct investment in the soul of the capital. In addition, he indicated that with the recovery of this center, spaces are guaranteed for the training and recreation of children, young people and cultivators.
The works are going through an intensive execution phase that includes the aesthetic and functional updating of their premises. In the auditorium, the epicenter of theatrical and musical activity, crews sand surfaces and install wood coverings on the walls. At the same time, the project includes the maintenance and reupholstery of the seats in order to ensure maximum comfort for the attendees.
The intervention extends to the Puppet Room, where the technical staff removes the ceramic floor in poor condition and applies new plasters to the walls. In the same way, on levels 1 and 2 of the building, the infrastructure equipment rectifies the cladding, repairs cracks and installs metal frames.
Building safety is also a priority, and for this reason, the work includes the construction of highly durable metal doors and complementary blacksmithing work. These tasks are in addition to cleaning glass and the general maintenance of common areas to restore order to the enclosure.
These actions, promoted by Governor Donald Donaire in the parish of San Juan de los Morros, are part of a strategic vision that prioritizes the rescue of public infrastructure for the integral development of the town.
