The Bolivarian Government reinaugurated the National Early Childhood Education Center (CEIN) “I Don't Know Bernardo Bermúdez, Dream of a Great Leader” in the Tiuna City Urbanism, located in the Coche parish of the capital city.

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, together with the Minister for Women and Gender Equality, Yelitze Santaella, led the reinauguration of the CEIN, stressing that boys and girls now have decent spaces, with all the services, spaces for study, games and for meals.

The Mayor pointed out that in Caracas there are 1,253 educational institutions, housing more than 400,000 children and young people, who have been reintegrated into their classrooms since last Monday, January 12.

“We are going to achieve 100% schooling, as one of the great challenges of 2026, that no child is left without studying,” he said.

For her part, Santaella praised the role of teachers for their commitment to educating the homeland's seedbed.

“I have faith in all these teachers who are giving up their infinite love for the country, guiding children like a second mother,” she added.
