Bolivarian Government renewed COE to improve operations at Maiquetía Airport

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velázquez Araguayán, inspected the spaces designated for Platform Operational Control and the Emergency Operations Center (COE) of Maiquetía International Airport,.

Through his official Instagram account, the official noted that the COE “has been completely renewed to strengthen operational security,” as part of the Comprehensive Airport Transformation Plan, instructed by President Nicolás Maduro.

He explained that modern technological equipment, new offices, state-of-the-art luminaires and rest areas for operational staff have been incorporated.

These improvements seek to optimize the efficiency of airport processes and guarantee the well-being of those who guard the country's main air terminal. The renewal of the COE and the Platform Operational Control area represents a firm step towards strengthening the airport's infrastructure, raising safety and emergency response standards.
