With the objective of providing spaces for comprehensive care for patients with nephrological diseases, the Bolivarian Government repaired the dialysis room of the José María Vargas Hospital, in Caracas.

Through the Together Everything Is Possible program, promoted by the National Executive, the works that included painting walls, installation of drywall ceilings and the LED lighting system were completed.

The air conditioners were also maintained and the bathrooms, corridors, rooms and the waiting room were renovated.

According to the newspaper Último Noticias, among the works that were carried out, televisions, furniture and supplies were provided, in order to strengthen care for patients. “Today, patients, doctors and families have a decent, comfortable and modern place,” the program said.

Recently, the Ministry of Health and the Mayor's Office of Caracas opened four new hospital wards in the area of internal medicine, with places to assist 68 patients with chronic diseases, which is a major step forward for the recovery of this 136-year-old health center.
