Bolivarian Government replaced collectors in the San José de Maracay community

The Multidisciplinary Team of the Ministry of Popular Power for Water successfully completed the replacement of 20 meters of the 12-inch diameter collector in the community of San José de Maracay, in the municipality of Girardot, in the state of Aragua, with the purpose of optimizing the sanitation service.

The work was concentrated on Fifth Avenue, in the stretch between 14th and 15th streets, where it was necessary to use a backhoe machine, a drain pump and the necessary tools for the installation of 3 sewage pipes with a length of 6 meters each.

The operational deployment was carried out thanks to the joint work in which the Venezuelan Hydrological Company (HIDROVEN) provided specialized material and qualified labor, while the municipal government provided the heavy machinery required for excavation and adaptation of the land.

The execution of the work was directly accompanied by the Popular Power organized through the Socialist Commune of the Courageous Lancers of Maracay.

In addition to the direct impact on homes in San José, the rehabilitation of the collection system favors the commercial dynamics of the area.

Rudy Castillo, a merchant, first thanked God and the entities responsible for carrying out this action, which will change the reality of merchants and members of the community. “It's a good thing they fixed the collector because I work with food and that improves my business,” he said.

With this action, the instructions of the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez are being complied with, by ensuring efficient solutions that raise the quality of life of Aragüeña families, framed in the second transformation of the Homeland Plan.
