The Bolivarian Government successfully completed preventive and corrective maintenance of the Tuy III System, to optimize drinking water service to 3 million inhabitants of Caracas, La Guaira and Miranda.

More than 430 men and women participated in the maintenance work, including Hidrocapital's workers, technicians and engineers, who went into mountainous and difficult to access areas to repair seven faults, replace valves, and perform electromechanical maintenance at pumping stations 31, 32, 33, Mamonal and the Caujarito treatment plant.

The work began on January 20 and was completed in less than 24 hours, Hidrocapital reports on its social networks.

It was possible to solve the water problems and recover approximately 500 liters of water per second, which are now reincorporated into the distribution network.

The Minister of the People's Power for Water Care, Carlos Mast, was in charge of the operation, supervising each battle front and ensuring that the planned goals were met, according to the schedule of activities.
