Bolivarian Government supervised maintenance work at Maiquetía Airport

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, oversaw the weeding work in the perimeter areas of the runway area of the Maiquetía “Simón Bolívar” International Airport in La Guaira state.
In this regard, he indicated that “weeding work has also been carried out to ensure a safe and optimal environment. Together with our technicians and specialists, we evaluated the VOR (omnidirectional radio beacon), a key instrument for air navigation, as well as other relevant areas of the airport.”
He noted that these actions are carried out on instructions from President Nicolás Maduro through the Plan for the Comprehensive Transformation of the Air Terminal in Venezuela.
