Bolivarian Government to reopen Coche Island airport

With the firm intention of boosting tourism to non-traditional destinations, officials of the Bolivarian Government announced the reactivation of Teniente Coronel Andrés Salazar Marcano Airport, on Coche Island, Nueva Esparta.
The Minister of Tourism, Ali Padrón, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Air Transport, Freddy Borges, and the president of Bolivariana de Aeropuerto, Enzo Puglisi de Nisco, carried out an inspection of the facilities and although they have not defined a date, it was reported that they will activate the Caracas-Caracas Island route, which will cover the Aerocaribe airline.
In this way, Margarita's economic development is strengthened through the promotion of Motor Tourism.
