Bolivarian Government verifies use of fair prices in shops in Aragua

Civil and military authorities were deployed in Ocumare de la Costa, La Victoria and Barbacoas de Aragua with the objective of curbing speculation and ensuring compliance with current economic regulations.
In the town of Ocumare, officials of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) carried out a verification operation that was not only limited to price control, but also involved overseeing the operation of electronic payment methods.
In addition, technical advice was carried out to guide traders on the legal and economic framework, and direct attention to community concerns to seek immediate solutions.
Likewise, in the municipality of Ribas, an exhaustive inspection began. The audit included inventory control and an evaluation of the capacity of distributors to prevent hoarding, thanks to the joint efforts of the Municipal Police, the Treasury and the Directorate of Economic Development, the regional press highlighted.
