The Bolivarian Government seeks to raise the quality of mass transportation in the state of Zulia with the optimization plans planned by the Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation (MPPT), led by Jacqueline Faria, who recently announced the appointment of the new president of the Maracaibo Metro, Dirwings Arrieta.

In this regard, the new management aims to optimize each technical and human process within the institution, actions that seek to generate well-being in terms of the transfer of the Zulian population with the modernization of the system that, since its founding in 2006, has continued to be the fundamental axis of mobility in the region, he reported on his MPPT portal.

The authorities also reaffirmed their commitment to workers and to the people to bring the system to its maximum potential by strengthening operations and customer service.

Faria said that “we have come to settle down with all our strength, with all our enthusiasm, to transform the service we provide today. So Maracaibo, get ready because the subway comes with everything.”

He added that the main focus is on continuous improvement, to meet the expectations of citizens.
