Bolivarian Government will set up seventh temporary camp for victims in Guarenas

A seventh temporary camp will be set up in Guarenas, Miranda state, to provide comprehensive assistance to those affected by the double earthquake of June 24.

The mayor of this town, Antonio Galíndez, said, in statements collected by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), that the center, assigned by the Ministry of Communes and Social Movements, will have the necessary infrastructure such as rooms, bathrooms and essential services, as well as beds and bunk beds.

“We have worked with Minister Ángel Prado and his team to prepare all their spaces. This is an effort that we are making together with the Bolivarian Militia,” said Galíndez.

The burgomaster emphasized that crisis management is maintained under strict coordination with the National and Regional Government.

“We tell the families of Guarenas that we are accompanying them, embracing them and helping them in these times of adversity,” said the local authority.
