Bolivarian Government will treat compatriots who are victims of the Dominican Jet Set nightclub

On instructions from the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the Bolivarian Government will attend to all the compatriots and families of the victims of the events of last April 8 in which more than 220 people lost their lives, including 14 Venezuelans.

The information was released through the foreign minister's Telegram channel, in which it was detailed that Venezuela has deployed a technical and consular team that has already made the relevant contacts.

It was also known that the foreign minister held a telephone meeting with his Dominican counterpart, Roberto Álvarez, to whom he expressed the solidarity of the Venezuelan people and Government after the tragedy.

'The Bolivarian Government will carry out all the necessary coordination to meet every need and we have agreed with the Dominican government to maintain communication in order to fulfill this task,” he added.
