Bolivarian Government works to strengthen Moto Turismo in Caracas

The Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, held a fruitful meeting with the head of government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, and with the participation of the president of the Tourism Corporation (CORPOTUR) of Caracas, Cecilia Requena, with the objective of strengthening Motor Tourism in the capital city

In this regard, the meeting highlighted the importance of addressing the entire tourism infrastructure, which includes quality services, training, tourism awareness, promotion and security, in Caracas.

It should be noted that in an interview with the Coffee in the Morning program, the president of CORPOTUR in Caracas, Cecilia Requena, highlighted that they have worked on community projects, through community tourism spokespersons, which are part of the communal councils for awareness-raising and training in tourism, in this way encouraging the participation of the population in this sector.

During the carnival season, Requena mentioned the importance of tourist routes, in the historic spaces of the capital, because it encourages the strengthening of the local economy, which is active and works in coordination with the national government.
