The Bolivarian Government deployed, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, a cultural day in schools in the state of Mérida as part of the celebration of National Artist's Day.

The day of celebration full of identity and revolutionary commitment extended to several municipalities, including Campo Elías, Libertador, Julio César Salas and Sucre, with the participation of the Emiro Fuenmayor Educational Unit, the Monsignor Jáuregui Educational Unit and the Mesa Seca Educational Unit.

The community that lives in these spaces shared knowledge with the promoters of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, who gave training workshops on traditional games, rag wraps, poetry, singing, theater and puppet performances.

The objective of this deployment was to strengthen in children, adolescents and adults the Venezuelan affirmative and national identity. In addition, the meeting allowed us to reflect on education as a tool of resistance to the siege of the North American empire against the Venezuelan people and the constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro, and the First Fighter, Cilia Flores.

These cultural and training activities will be extended to the 23 municipalities of the state of Mérida, with the aim of bringing joy to the entity's schools, squares, cultural centers and community circuits.
