Bolivarian National Guard seized 96 drones in Bolivar

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), stationed in Bolívar state, seized 96 units of remotely piloted aircraft, such as drones.

According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Úlmas Noticias (UN), the procedure was carried out at the Citizen Service Point located in Palo Grande, Caroní municipality (Guayana City).

The uniformed personnel indicated in the operations report that the retention of these devices is “based on non-compliance with the provisions established in Official Gazette No. 6,927 dated August 18, 2025, issued by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, which establishes an express prohibition on the sale, purchase, manufacture, distribution, circulation, import and export of this type of aircraft.”

It was also known that the “devices are ready to be activated with a non-satellite remote control connection”.
