Bolivarian teachers repudiated threats from the United States against our country and confirm their commitment to the defense of the Homeland

The Bolivarian Teachers Movement vigorously repudiated the recent threats of North American imperialism against our country and reiterated its commitment to the independence and sovereignty of Venezuela.

In a statement released this Wednesday, teachers confirmed their commitment to the education of Venezuelan children and young people under any circumstance, to the point that they emphasized that training in the country is on the side of emancipation, sovereignty and the consolidation of ideals of justice, peace and security.

Below is the full statement:

The Bolivarian Movement of Teachers and Teachers, deployed throughout the national territory, expresses its strong rejection of the insolent threats of imperialism and reaffirms its commitment to the freedom, independence and sovereignty of our Homeland.

The pretensions of US imperialism to block us economically to steal our natural wealth, using its military forces, will find in the heirs of Bolivar and Simón Rodríguez the same answers that have historically made us the victors of empires.

Our Movement reaffirms its commitment to the education of Venezuelan children and young people under any circumstance, and our willingness to resolutely defend our country at any juncture and against any enemy.

Our Movement calls on all organizations and associations of educators in the world to reject the aggressions against the Bolivar Homeland that are against all of America.

Our Movement expresses to Venezuelan families and communities the conviction that Venezuelan education, its teachers and teachers will always be on the side of emancipation, sovereignty and the consolidation of ideals of justice, peace and security for all.
