Bolivia urges the US to respect Venezuela's self-determination (+elections)

Through a press release, the Government of the Plurinational State of Bolivia supported the Venezuelan electoral process on July 28.

In the letter published in account X of the Bolivian Foreign Ministry, he welcomed the process, while expressing his “concern about the threats and actions of some extreme right-wing organizations that, instead of joining the electoral competition as others of the opposition decided to do, are on the line of destabilizing the elections and the Venezuelan political system.”

The highland nation urged the U.S. administration to “respect Venezuela's self-determination, to continue moving towards its definitive independence and to abandon its interventionist and interventionist plans.”
