The 16th Caracas Book Fair, organized by Fundarte, will be the stage for the launch of one of the most anticipated works, the debut book by essayist Karibay Velásquez, entitled The Anatomy of Vertigo, published by Acirema.
The event will take place in the Stefanía Mosca Room of the National Art Gallery this Monday, November 3, at 3:00 p.m., where the poet Ana María Oviedo Palomares will be in charge of presenting this literary piece.
The Anatomy of Vertigo is a literary essay of great critical subtlety dedicated entirely to the work of the Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector, considered one of the most enigmatic and essential voices of the 20th century.
Velásquez distances himself from traditional academic approaches and proposes an intimate and reflective tone, where reading Lispector becomes a vital experience.
Structurally, the book is divided into eight sections that combine criticism, introspection and poetic prose, in which it weaves a constant dialogue between Lispector's voice and its reader.
With this publication, Acirema consolidates its catalog in the field of thought and literature, which reaffirms its commitment to new voices that manage to intertwine deep reading, emotion and contemporary criticism.
