Brazil's Landless Movement rejects kidnapping of President Maduro and demands his release

The Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) of Brazil, spoke out in rejection of the kidnapping of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores, by the United States Government.

During the XIV National Meeting, which brings together thousands of activists in Salvador de Bahia, representatives of the movement emphasized that the freedom of the Venezuelan president is a priority for popular forces in the region, denouncing the actions carried out during a military invasion in Venezuela.

It became known that under the slogan “Freedom for Maduro and Cilia Flores”, more than three thousand activists reaffirmed their commitment to the sovereignty of Venezuela, VTV reports.

The organization described the arrest of Venezuelan leaders as an act of imperialist aggression that threatens the will of the people.
