BRICOMILES rehabilitate schools in Barinas

The Military Community Brigades (BRICOMILES) achieved the recovery of 156 educational institutions in the state of Barinas, working together to rescue educational infrastructure.

Lenín Guillermo Herrera Hernández, commander of Operation Battle of Otters, provided the balance of the works carried out by the BRICOMILES for 169 days, highlighting that in total 242 spaces were rehabilitated, including health, cultural, campuses and mission bases. “To date, 156 educational centers of various levels of academic training have been recovered, as well as 55 establishments where health services are provided to the general population,” he said.

He said that in the different municipalities of the state of Llanero, 26 Mission Bases and five houses of culture were rehabilitated.

“We continue to work for the welfare of the people. For the consolidation of these works, through the operation, 1,657 military personnel and 61 vehicles were deployed in the 12 municipalities, through a specific distribution in three axes of action, including the Llanero, Central and Andean areas, with the incorporation of four jurisdictions of the entity each,” he said in a press release.
