Burundi rejects US military aggression against Venezuela and President Nicolás Maduro

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, reported this Sunday that he had a telephone contact with his counterpart from Burundi, Edouard Bizimana, who unanimously rejected the aggression of the United States (USA) with the People of Venezuela and President Nicolás Maduro, together with his wife, Cilia Flores.

Through his Telegram channel, he indicated that during the conversation they also noted “a solid commitment to international law and the Charter of the UN (United Nations Organization)”.

In addition, both parties reaffirmed “a firm rejection of the use of force in international relations as a means of domination and violation of sovereignty”.
