Bus accident left 15 dead in Brazil

At least 15 pilgrims, including three children, died this Tuesday in a bus accident in the Brazilian state of Alagoas, one of the most impoverished states in the northeast of the country, local media reported and reported by RT.
Several passengers were injured when the bus, with nearly 60 religious pilgrims inside, overturned on a road in the interior of the Brazilian state.
The vehicle was transporting pilgrims to Juazeiro do Norte, one of Brazil's main religious destinations, which features a gigantic statue of a revered priest known as Father Cícero.
According to some of the survivors, the driver of the vehicle lost control on a curve, invaded the opposite lane and eventually rolled over.
The governor of Alagoas, Paulo Dantas, declared official three-day mourning for the tragedy, in addition to traveling to the site to begin investigations.
