Diosdado Cabello Rondón dismissed the sayings of the former militant magistrate of opposition extremism Blanca Rosa Mármol de León regarding the Simón Bolívar Liberator Law for the defense of Venezuela's sovereignty against those who request sanctions and invasions against the country.

“Your opinion is based on what is academic, or what you think is academic,” said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), during his Con El Mazo Dando #505 program.

“What is Patria for you? Do you feel the Homeland? Do you love the Fatherland? Are you able to defend her? Do you think that María Corina Machado is capable of defending her Homeland?” , he questioned when referring to the message published by Mármol de León in his X account in relation to the investigation opened against María Corina Machado for treason in which he asked to define Homeland.

“María Corina Machado has called for an invasion of her own homeland,” she recalled and added that there are a large number of Venezuelans who do love the Homeland, even in opposition sectors there are people who demand and say: enough of the aggressions against Venezuela,” he said.

“It's your turn to defend traitors to the Fatherland, that's your problem, you decide where you go to the military. We will be active in the cause of the Patria,” he said.
