Cabello about Arnaldo Sánchez: He is a valuable, well-educated young man, a good companion, who loves Mérida

This Wednesday, June 3rd, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the humility of the elected governor of the state of Mérida, Arnaldo Sánchez, when he assumed responsibility for the candidacy for governor of the entity in the last elections of May 25.

“This young man who is receiving the governor's office today was the first surprised when he was told that he was going to be a candidate (...) he wasn't betting on anything, there was no leading position, no 'I want', he was given a mission that many might think was uphill and he said: 'Understood, we're going to give it and we're going to win!” , he said during the swearing in of Governor Arnaldo Sánchez in Mérida.

In this regard, he recalled the great victory of the People's Power in the past elections, despite the attacks of the extreme right. In turn, he recognized the beauty of the state of Mérida, as well as its people and its history.

He reaffirmed that Sánchez “is a valuable, trained young man, a good companion, who loves this state” and that today he assumes great responsibility.
