Cabello: All the Presidents of the Fourth Republic applied the Truman Doctrine against the People

Diosdado Cabello highlighted that, at the time, the United States, protected by the absurd Truman Doctrine, murdered, persecuted, invaded Peoples, an action that was replicated in Venezuela by then-President Romulo Betancourt, who “began that chain of repression against our people.”

He indicated that, in addition to Betancourt, this perverse policy, they continued to execute it, “Raúl Leoni, Rafael Caldera, Carlos Andrés, (Jaime) Lusinchi, Luis Herrera, all of them,” emphasized the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

The approach was made by Cabello, referring to former US President Harry Truman, who proclaimed the policy of containment aimed at preventing the advance of communism in the world, under the statement of the Truman Doctrine.

During his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast 468, the psuvist leader pointed out that in Venezuela, with the application of this doctrine, “more than 11,000 young people were murdered, three thousand of whom the bodies have not been found; peasants, workers murdered.”

“Seeing the newspapers of any time was terrified, but that generation was not afraid,” he emphasized, highlighting the leaders of the revolutionary struggle.
