Cabello: Any act of cowardice to confront fascism does is strengthen it

Diosdado Cabello Rondón insisted on his call to support and enrich with the debate the Bill against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions, warning that “any act of cowardice to confront fascism is to strengthen it”.

During his speech this Tuesday at the session of the National Assembly, the president of the Legislative Standing Committee on Internal Politics warned that not fighting fascism is making room for these expressions that go against the human.

“Letting it grow - fascism - brings us to the situation we are in right now: impunity. Fascism is still there, so they talk about “to the end” deceiving their own people, while their families live outside the country. Fascism never exposes its people because they must ensure that the legacy continues,” he said.

He did not hesitate to point out that “it hurts fascism that we look into their eyes and tell them: you are a fascist, with the last names the idiots are defeating you, the Peoples are defeating you, the peasant of Sabaneta defeated you, the bus driver defeated you”.

“Not acting makes us even complicit in the situation and we don't want to be complicit in fascism. Let's go out together and fight it!” , he urged.

He added that the bill being presented has 30 articles, which could be increased based on discussions.
