Cabello assured that the State protects the people from criminal gangs linked to the opposition

This Monday, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the regular press conference of the red awning, assured that the main line is to defend the nation from criminals and gangs linked to the opposition.

“The least we are going to do is defend criminal groups, the least, here in our minds, is to defend gangs, on the contrary, days, months and years fighting them, in addition to defeating them in Venezuelan territory,” said Cabello

He also stressed that it can be seen in numbers in everyday life and exemplified by the elimination of the criminal nicknamed El Wilexis during an operation carried out by the Venezuelan State.

“Wilexis was an opposition agent, who used him as a marker for the guarimbas from 17 to 18 July (2024),” he said, adding that “shootings in Petare initiated by El Wilexis linked to the opposition (Carlos) Oscariz, (Henrique) Capriles; linked to Operation Gideon, one of the detainees also says so clearly, and names them in detail.”

In this regard, he assured that the Government of President Nicolás Maduro acts against destabilizing factors “we defend Venezuelans and Venezuelan women wherever they are.”
