Cabello: Civil Protection Training Center will prepare people for disaster response

The opening of the Tactical Technical Training Center for Civil Protection is another step in complying with the instruction given by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, that every communal circuit in the country has a component for the protection of the population in the event of disasters, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

During the inauguration of the aforementioned center in the Portuguese state, Cabello pointed out that an important detail of this new model for the training of Civil Protection personnel and the people will have a positive impact on the development of the “humanitarian and solidarity” sense of Venezuelans.

“Minimal training is essential to help in the event of an emergency. It's important to know that, for example, to move a person in an accident, you have to have the minimum knowledge,” said Cabello.

In this regard, the head of the Interior portfolio assured that the construction of these specialized training centers in Civil Protection will be carried out in other states of the country to replicate teaching experiences.
