This Friday, during the broadcast of the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón condemned the silence of sectors of the right about the victorious return of the girl Maikelys Espinoza.

“On May 14, 2024, she was separated from her mother and on May 14, 2025, she came into her mother's arms again,” said Cabello, adding that “while in Venezuela there was a current of love for Maikelys, the opposition sectors that remain in a bubble... Some people scoffed, like it was a show that we put on, making us believe that the girl's return was up to us.”

The general secretary of the PSUV condemned the Catholic Church's silence on the return of the girl Maikelys. “The Catholic Church is perverse (...) gentlemen of the church hierarchy can say what they want about me, because they say: 'We get along with everyone but with Diosdado, 'because you tell him your truths. The meaning of the Catholic Church in Venezuela was lost,” he said.

In this regard, he highlighted the struggle being waged by the National Government for the return of all migrants and I assert that they are now focused “on the return of those who are kidnapped in the concentration camp in El Salvador”
