Cabello: Danilo Anderson is one of the martyrs of this country, an extraordinary, courageous and daring young man like no other

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recalled that “the assassination of prosecutor Danilo Anderson was a very hard blow for this country.”

On the night of this Wednesday, November 19, in his Con El Mazo Dando program, he said that “it was a blow as hard as the assassination of Robert Serra or Eliécer Otaiza, as hard as well aimed and well directed. It was a coup. The material perpetrators are imprisoned and whenever they can they ask for the release of these murderers so that they continue to kill people and plant bombs.”

“They are called political prisoners but they are murderers; those who paid to have him killed have already left the country. Danilo is an example for the youth of this country, he is a hero,” he said.

The courageous prosecutor, as we knew him, was assassinated in 2004 in a terrorist attack when an explosive device placed under his car exploded. At the time of his assassination, he was handling important cases such as those related to the April 2002 coup and the oil sabotage of 2002 and 2003.

“Danilo Anderson is one of the martyrs of this country, an extraordinary young man, courageous like no one else, daring like no other (...) he was a prosecutor and they put a bomb under his car and they killed him, they murdered him,” he stressed.
