This Monday, November 03, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, described as extraordinary the days of meetings that took place over the weekend across the country ahead of the Fourth National Popular Consultation on November 23.

“Saturday and Sunday marked an historic day, as are all the days of the communal movement in Venezuela, and which have gained extraordinary strength from the assemblies in all the country's communal circuits,” he said during the PSUV press conference.

He highlighted that in the 5,336 Community Circuits across the country, the People's Power presented projects for their communities. “And also making decisions, because here it is the People who make the decisions and the People in the communal organization carry the flag when making decisions,” he added.

He reaffirmed that this is a sign of the participatory and leading democracy that is being experienced in Venezuela. “The rest we have to do is to carry out the orders given to us by the Communes (...) This is the full exercise of a participatory democracy and protagonist of our people,” he said.
