Cabello: Enough of leaders far away! Our People Must Feel the Same

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, demanded that the leaders of the Bolivarian Revolution stand by the people without personal ambitions and work for collective benefit.

“The People have to feel that their leaders are also Pueblo. Enough of the leaders far away! Our people have to feel the same way in order to be respected. The People respect us to the extent that we are equal to our People,” he emphasized.

During his participation in the Extraordinary Plenary of the V Congress of the PSUV and the IV Congress of the JPSUV, Cabello pointed out that if the revolutionary leaders assume positions, the People will collect them.

“It has happened and it will continue to happen. These things that we discuss, these four points we have to say to the militants. We have to go from here to the states to talk to them, to the social movements to explain them, to talk about it, to receive their opinions from them and to bring their opinions through the path that corresponds to the National Party Leadership, to the political high command so that the president (Nicolás Maduro), in accordance with the recommendations made to him, makes the relevant decisions”, he instructed.
