This Wednesday, August 7, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, estimated that progressively the extremist opposition sector assimilates that it lost the Presidential Election last Sunday, July 28, “they are moving from grief to accepting defeat.”

“They're finishing digesting that they lost and they're finishing digesting that we won. Chavismo won,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 489.

He pointed out that it's about the grief curve, denial, “we're going to see if they learn, if at the end of that curve they end up learning something, although I doubt it, because they've been doing it for 25 years. They're really bad at learning.”

Cabello congratulated “all those who have courageously stood up, have declared, have not been afraid of imperialism. We also salute those who have been afraid of imperialism.”

“When imperialism sees them, they chicken out, just to remind them that they are now coming for you. Keep accompanying imperialism and believe that it is your friend,” he stressed.
