The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, has been the only president of the neighboring country who has fought with drug trafficking.
During his Con El Mazo Dando program, he stated that there is no Colombian president who has any precedent in the fight against drug trafficking, “only Gustavo Petro, all of them have been drug traffickers.”
“It's not easy to govern and fight against drug trafficking, with all the institutions governed by narco-politics,” he said.
Regarding Petro's speech to the general assembly of the United Nations (UN), Cabello Rondón praised the courage of the Colombian president, who denounced the genocide being committed by Israel in Palestine and went out to march in the United States.
“That's the Petro of those years and that's the Petro that America expects,” he emphasized.
