The Government of Trinidad and Tobago has now taken the position of becoming a front against our country, despite the fact that historically this island has had an extraordinary relationship with Venezuela, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.
In this regard, during the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, Cabello pointed out that all these actions against our country will be reverted to the administration of the Trinidadian Prime Minister, Kamla Persad-Bissessar. He also assured that Venezuela reserves the right to take whatever actions, for its defense, it deems appropriate.
“What has constituted aggression against Venezuela is going to be reversed. Venezuela, with sovereignty, has taken the appropriate decisions and the President has ordered an immediate review of the gas agreements,” said Cabello.
In this regard, he stressed that the execution of U.S. military exercises off the coast of Trinidad and Tobago was a direct provocation against Venezuela, yet our Armed Forces did not fall into this trap.
“Today is November 3rd and we are still at peace. She will not be the president of Trinidad and Tobago, with her provocations that will derail us from the peace train,” she emphasized.
