“In Venezuela, the electoral body has never published minutes,” said Diosdado Cabello Rondón, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), this Wednesday during the Con El Mazo Dando program.
In response to Joseph Borrell, Cabello said that “the minutes have never been published here, here the result is given by center and if you don't agree with the result, you go with your minutes to complain”.
“The National Electoral Council (CNE) has never published minutes, neither in the Fourth Republic nor ever. But their plan was based on the minutes,” he said and ironized: “They didn't know that the CNE doesn't publish minutes.”
The reaction of the first vice-president of the PSUV comes after Borrell published in X that “without supporting evidence, the results published by the CNE cannot be recognized. The EU asks for the publication and verification of official voting records.”
