This Thursday, April 10, the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that for the Bolivarian Government it is a great economic effort to keep the Plan Back to the Fatherland active, taking into consideration the aggressions and sanctions of US imperialism.
In that regard, he stressed that “the cost for us is enormous, I'm not going to tell you how much, but it's enormous, it's a big effort, let's remember that it's not just the trip, but the planes require maintenance”.
He said this at the “Simon Bolivar” International Airport, in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, where he received a new return flight from compatriots from the United States.
Cabello pointed out that depending on the flight hours, a plane must be stopped to check it, while commenting that “a plane that came here from the United States came without the APU, that is, (the plane) could not be turned off, it asked us for support with a battery”.
“We don't dare fly a plane like that. Those who travel on our planes, the companions, come with all the security measures,” he said.
The minister emphasized that “they do it and then they begin to criticize us, we are against sanctions and the blockade, which prevents us from buying spare parts, equipping aircraft, carrying out maintenance on time and in an adequate manner”.
