On the night of this Wednesday, November 20, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stated that “we underuse the constitution”.
He specified this in his Con El Mazo Dando program, stating that “this is a very personal criterion but I have always believed that around our constitution (...)”. In the pages of the constitution are the foundations of moral power and he said “moral power includes what Father Bolivar proposed in the speech of Angostura, and that is why it has its wide scope, but we must differentiate the law to choose moral power and the exercise of it”.
Cabello commented that a person who supports the invasion and blockades against the country can be “under the law of the exercise of moral power banned for life from holding public office, since it represents a danger to the Homeland (...) We must add up and enforce the constitution.”Mazo News Team
