The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, this Wednesday, October 29, stressed that in the country 15 years ago it was impossible for anyone to speak ill of extremist opponents Leopoldo López, Henrique Capriles and María Corina Machado, until the Con El Mazo Dando program began to publicize its internal conflicts.

“That bubble began to break and they began to break it themselves (...) I understand how angry they are at me. That wasn't said here and I'm going to say it without any modesty, until the Mazo started taking it out,” he said.

In his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 549, he emphasized that the country was governed by the parents of the extremists “the López, the Machados and the Capriles” through the governments of the Fourth Republic. “That manguanga ended with Hugo Chávez. He ordered the Commander to stop. Nicolás (President Maduro) came and that situation continued.”

“Then, daddy and mommy's children said: it's our turn, no longer middlemen, and they're killing each other. Not right now, they've been doing it for years,” he said.

Cabello specified that it is not of the current moment but about 10 or 12 years ago, that the Mazo began to publicize “the statements of one against the other and people began to realize who they are”.

Leopoldo López, father, in an interview with Carlos Croes, said that Leopoldito disguised himself at Carnival as President, after seven years with a band,” he said.

He also recalled that when Antonieta Mendoza de López was pregnant with Leopoldo, “they lived in the United States (...) and they came to Venezuela, because Leopoldito had to be born in Venezuela because he was going to be President of Venezuela. That's the true story.”

“That's why a cockroach got into (Leopoldo)'s head and they drove him crazy,” he said.

Cabello emphasized that in Venezuela the People came to govern “and they are never going to leave again.”
