Diosdado Cabello, first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, the opposition leader María Machado, is trying to use the statements of the president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio “Lula” da Silva to rank with this veteran politician at a time when he is desperately trying to qualify him to participate in the presidential elections of July 28.

Cabello, during his Con El Mazo Dando program, stressed that Lula never named Machado and in his response on the political case of Venezuela he only referred to the situation faced by his political party in Brazil when he was disqualified from being a presidential candidate and was replaced as a candidate for the presidency of the Republic.

Lula is a great politician in Brazil and Latin America. An eagle that doesn't hunt flies,” Cabello reiterated, referring to the childish attitude of “whining” opponents in Venezuela.

He also rejected that Machado accuses the Bolivarian government of violating the Constitution when it has called for invasions, military interventions, bombings and participated in coups d'etat.
