The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela
(PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during
the usual red curtain press conference, when questioned about the call for a march for the coming September 28 by
the
extremist María Corina Machado, assured that the international community does not exert any kind of pressure on the Bolivarian nation.
In that regard, he pointed out that the call for the opposition will be “interplanetary,
we send messages to Mars and Jupiter to help them, because the problem is
no longer in Venezuela. Why don't they do it in Venezuela? Because they don't have people and
they want to get the world's attention, because they think the world is going
to put pressure on us.”
Cabello assured that what the opposition “has is money”, while
describing this sector as a “big mafia that terrorist sector of the opposition
led by María Corina Machado (...) They have no people and they call it the issue of
networks, of their influencers, that the truth is mercenaries”.
He also pointed out that “the money has almost been stolen” from the latest widespread
strategy to steal from the people (...) The Venezuelan opposition is
full of thieves, of rascals.”
