More than 32,000 young people have registered to join police forces and citizen assistance services throughout 2025, according to Diosdado Cabello Rondón, the sector's vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace.

“It's a comprehensive effort, more than 32,000 requests from boys and girls, for something it must be, and every day those officials who leave there (UNES) must be identified with our people,” he emphasized, during a delivery of see police forces in Los Proceres, Caracas.

Cabello explained that this year all registration records have been broken at the National Experimental Security University (UNES), with aspiring careers such as Police Sciences, Civil Protection, Firefighters, Hospital Emergencies and Prison Custody. He stressed that the steady increase in enrollment reflects the interest of young people in joining the civic security forces.

The sector vice-president stressed that training is carried out in all operational areas related to the protection of the population and that the new admissions respond to a global effort to strengthen security forces. He indicated that each cohort must progress with greater identification and commitment to public service.

Cabello recalled that President Nicolás Maduro's instructions guide the expansion of the Peace Quadrants and that new candidates will be part of that national deployment.
