Diosdado Cabello, general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), said that the vast majority of Venezuelan migrants deported by the United States to anti-terrorist prisons in El Salvador are not criminals or belong to the Aragua Train.

“I guarantee you, I'm not going to say that everyone, but most of the migrants transferred to El Salvador have nothing to do with the Aragua Train because we have identified the members of this organization who are fugitives, yet they grab a Venezuelan over there in a country and immediately link him to the Aragua Train and when we check here, we verify that he is a member of the Flipper gang that the national government dismantled in 2024 and we threw them to the ground,” he said.

He indicated that behind the use of the name of the Aragua Train for any Venezuelan arrested in the region by some governments is the intention of congratulating the United States, contributing to the label of compatriots as highly dangerous criminals in the continent.

“To win the headlines, some governments talk about the Aragua Train, they are very foolish because they play the game so that Venezuela is stigmatized in the world and Venezuelans,” he reiterated.
