The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, pointed out that there were Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that led media campaigns to turn opposition sectors into scorpions.
During the edition of the radio program “Sin Truco Ni Maña”, broadcast by Radio Nacional de Venezuela (RNV) and community broadcasters, he assured that these campaigns came from NGOs, that money was lowered that way and they paid the media to say “whoever is not with La Sayona is a scorpion”.
Cabello showed data that was published on the website of the United States Department of State, which shows open support for the 2015 National Assembly. “The breakdown includes 7 million dollars for support for COVID programs, 6 million dollars for Family Planning, 2 million, 3 million for investment in HIV, 12 million for food, and others,” he said.
In that regard, he asserted that there is no one or a Venezuelan who says he received money or help from the opposition.
“In total, 2.8 billion have been granted by the State Department alone. They took money from American constituents to give it to a group of criminals,” he said.
For her part, the deputy Tania Díaz, recalled that in Venezuela there is a current law that regulates NGOs and was created in order to protect the Venezuelan people.
“Through NGOs, operations of violence, of assault on the nation, of affecting Venezuelan families, were financed, it was an operation to take away the youth who are one of our greatest treasures,” he said.
