The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the review of the situation of those arrested for participating in post-electoral violence has nothing to do with any Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
He explained that in these cases “a review was carried out, the agencies that impart justice and some people were released. It is a sovereign decision of the bodies that impart justice.”
“Even the President (Nicolás Maduro) asked that the cases be reviewed and it was done. It has nothing to do with NGOs. Nothing,” he recalled.
He said this when he sent a message to the families of those responsible for the post-election violence during the past days of July 29 and 30.
“One, in what was done, what they call NGOs, they have no interference. They haven't done anything for any of the people who are being held in detention for acts of terrorism and violence,” he said.
In that regard, Cabello, his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 504, maintained that he offers this message because they have done “nothing, this is so that they don't get paid. They are pimps and now they're going to charge them and tell their relatives that they left because they pushed.”
“Never, ever, ever in all these years have NGOs had anything to do with it. They are pimps, all of them, pimps, vivacious. They are scammers,” he emphasized.
For this reason, he argued that the decision “had nothing to do with the bully of Andrés Caleca (former president of the National Electoral Council), who throws the stone and hides himself. He doesn't hide his hand, he hides.”
