On the night of this Wednesday, December 17, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUv), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recalled how the Panamanian singer Rubén Blades performed songs of oppressed peoples, but he was “rigged”.

“There was a singer called Rubén Blades, his name was (...) It no longer exists and he had a song called Tiburón. He was a guy who sang our songs. They kneaded him up, it's not known if they put him barefoot or put a chair on him,” he ironized. Cabello commented that “Rubén Blades accepted a chair, muzzle, brake, spurs and everything”.

He added that “the song Tiburón is not his, it belongs to the Free Peoples”. In this regard, he stressed that “the history of Latin America has been full of invasions and the one who has invaded has always been the United States (USA) and we were always going through it and that was suspicious, do you know why? , because they had the comfort of soldiers and Heads of State who did not want this Homeland”.

He added that “here there were army commanders and ministers who handed over the position today the next day they were going to live in the United States and for that reason there was no reason to invade because they were fixing it internally.”
