This Wednesday, May 14, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, stated that sectors of the Venezuelan opposition once again underestimate President Nicolás Maduro, regarding the return of the Venezuelan girl Maikelys Espinoza, who was kidnapped in the United States.

“This is where the opposition returns again to underestimate our President Nicolás Maduro, they always love to crash, everything has been the same with his experience on the subject of international diplomacy, how to handle it, what to say, how to say it, when to say it and when to have patience,” said Cabello during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 526.

In that regard, he reaffirmed that it was thanks to the experience of the Head of State that the little girl returned. “To kidnap a girl outrages anyone and you tend not to hear reasons or to hear anything because it's a girl's life; however, the President led this team with Jorge Rodríguez, who directed the entire topic of the dialogue, and he went to great lengths (...) to get Maikelys back,” he said.

He specified that after the great workers' march on May 1, the United States had already added Maikelys Espinoza to a first list on a flight back to the Fatherland. “We didn't say anything to the mother because the record that the United States has, is the record that the United States has, she always lies and never complies, they put her on the list and we were waiting for her and she didn't come on the plane,” she said.
