The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured that opposition sectors have been trying to set fire to the country for years due to the lack of real politicians within their ranks.

“There is no ethics, and while the spokespersons (opponents), because they are not really politicians (...). Since when have they tried to burn this country down? Since 2007? No, since 2002 they have been trying to burn this country down in the absence of real politicians,” he denounced during his show Con el Mazo Dando No. 578.

He also noted that these sectors do not represent anyone. “They don't really do politics, politics is going to neighborhoods to make proposals, where are the proposals? They have no proposal anywhere,” he said.

In addition, he specified that when you hear characters like Henrique Capriles say that he “wants to be the captain of the ship”, it becomes clear that they are “totally removed from the reality of this country”.
