Cabello on the PSUV Congress: Among the issues to be discussed is that of security and defense of the Homeland

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that the plenary session of the Red Awning Congress will be held on September 11 and 12, at which various issues will be discussed.

“President Nicolás Maduro told us and so we have convened it, a plenary session to discuss different issues, one of the issues being the security and defense of the Homeland; and it also coincides with the anniversary of the 17th anniversary of the PSUV Youth (JPSUV),” he said.

In addition, he highlighted that, in the face of the PSUV Congress, 304 young people from the PSUV Youth are undergoing Basic Revolutionary Resistance Training, 1st Darío Vivas cohort, as part of the training in security and defense of the nation.

“We will continue to grow,” he said and noted the great commitment of this first cohort to be called Darío Vivas. “Nothing more and nothing less Darío Vivas so that no one gives up, with that name it is so that no one gives up,” he said.
