The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, referred to calls for ignorance of the results that opposition extremism has made on the results of this Sunday's elections with the aim of promoting violence in the country.
“At the end of this film they are defeated because the People, when they mobilize, come out in defense of what they have achieved with so much effort,” he said in statements offered outside the Miraflores Palace.
He warned that “if they want to generate violence, they will find us here because we are street people, we are not afraid of that, but know that they will find us willing to defend the Palace, the Revolution, the Constitution and the victory of President Nicolás Maduro, which is the victory of Chávez and the victory of our people.”
